The engagement session is such an essential part of preparing for your wedding photography, as the session allows the two of you to become comfortable in front of the camera. The other thing I always tell my couples is the engagement session is your time to show to the world who you are as a couple. I think this is most important when choosing locations, although Downtown Charleston is never a bad idea!

So when Katelyn told me that her vision was to have her session done at Clemson, I was so excited! After our first conversation, I learned that Steven and Katelyn are huge, Clemson fans! The two got engaged during one fo the games, so there was no question that Clemson would be the perfect location for the two. Knowing how much they love Clemson, I wanted to make the session even more special for the two. So I started my research and making calls, sending emails to find the person who could make their dreams come true to have some photos done inside the stadium. I was so thrilled when I was able to tell Katelyn the news that I was able to find someone who could let us in to take some photos, her excitement is why I do what I do.

So the day came this October for me to make the drive to Clemson for their session, and believe me, it did not disappoint. While driving there, I became more and more excited, seeing all the fall foliage and then driving through Clemson, I immediately fell in love with the little town.

The three of us had so much fun starting the session at the stadium and then exploring the campus for the second part of the session. We laughed non-stop, and I loved getting to know the two as a couple, I am so excited to share with everyone a few of my favorites from their session!
