Caroline and Ryan are high school sweethearts who met when they were attending Bishop England High School.
After meeting Caroline and Ryan, it came as no surprise to me that Ryan proposed to Caroline in literally the sweetest way. Ryan planned everything out entirely, even creating the perfect cover story to lure Caroline to the place where he would pop the big question. He told Caroline that they were going to dinner with friends, but before they had to stop by a friend’s house on the way to dinner because he had to grab something for work. When they pulled up to the house Ryan told Caroline that he needed her to help to load some stuff into the card. Ryan leads Caroline to the backyard where he decorated it candles, and string lights were hanging all from a pavilion that was also covered in rose petals. Ryan got down on one knee and asked Caroline to marry him. It was so private and intimate and so perfect! After he proposed, the two ended up going to dinner with their friends, where they had a private room and one more surprise waiting for Caroline. As they entered the private room in the restaurant, they were met by both of their families were waiting and Caroline’s best friend and her husband. The proposal was the sweetest and left Caroline in tears of happiness.
So fast forward to their wedding this October and as you can imagine from the proposal Caroline and Ryan had the sweetest most romantic southern wedding.
After the two got ready with their best friends and family, they headed to their first look, which was my favorite part of the entire day! The moment when Caroline and Ryan saw each other for the first time, it was so sweet to see how much they both care for one another. Ryan was softly asking if Caroline was doing fine, it literally brought tears to my eyes how much these two adore one another.
After the first look, we went into taking couples portraits and seriously, Caroline and Ryan cannot take a bad photo, just wait until you see some of my favorites! Just before the ceremony, we wrapped up with pictures with their bridal party, which was so much fun all of us could not stop laughing!
The ceremony was so sweet, and the weather completely corporated with zero raindrops during. Following the ceremony, Caroline and Ryan entered the reception where they shared their first dance. Still, no one stopped dancing all night, this may have been one of the most lively bunches I have had the pleasure of capturing to date. The night had to come to an end and Ryan and Caroline exited their reception through a line of sparklers, which was the most beautiful way to end the night!
Weddings like Caroline and Ryan’s are what makes me love what I do! It means the world to me to capture not only the day for my sweet couples but their loving family and friends! Enjoy some of my favorites from their day!
