When Maegan and Jason first got in touch with me about their Edisto Hall wedding in Charleston, I was so thrilled – they were planning the most beautiful and romantic wedding with Jewish ceremony held outside. Maegan and Jason seemed like the loveliest people, and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!
I started shooting at Folly Beach, where the bride was getting ready, and it was so much fun because all the girls were there.
The wedding took place outside the venue and was a stunning religious ceremony. After the ceremony, they smashed the glass, and then we went and did some beautiful portraits.
It was a beautifully sunny day, which was perfect for photos. While the guests enjoyed the cocktails, we took portrait photos. My favorite picture from our couples session is a stunning shot with Maegan’s veil.
Maegan and Jason met online, and he proposed to her that ultimately took her by surprise, while she was putting groceries away. They say if you’re planning a wedding, “Your wedding day is special because you have found true love. The day is there to celebrate that love! The people are there also to celebrate your love! That’s what they want to see and remember. Don’t sweat all the other details. Moreover, just be yourself and have fun.”.
