I think it comes as no surprise that I am a massive supporter of destination weddings, especially since I had one myself. So when I first met with Hallie and Cody, I was so excited to hear all about their plans for their destination wedding in Myrtle Beach. I mean can it does not get any more fun than renting out a bar on the beach for your wedding reception, and that is precisely how I would describe their wedding is FUN.

I loved how important family is to Hallie and Cody and that they incorporated small details throughout the day from their loved ones. Hallie had her mothers dress made into the most adorable cocktail dress for their rehearsal the day before, and they both had custom rings made from their grandfathers.

Their ceremony was held on the beach in front of their closest family and friends with the rest of their guests watching from the rooftop bar they rented out for the reception. After their ceremony, the rain held off just long enough for a few gorgeous sunset portraits of just Hallie and Cody and then the party started.

Their reception filled with tons of laughter and dancing! Hallie’s father and his best friend even kept tradition with their human surfboard which had everyone dying of laughter. The evening was indeed a blast!
