Kathleen and Jacob married this past weekend in Beaufort South Carolina, and the day could not be more perfect. Their day started with the two getting ready at The Beaufort Inn with their wedding party. I was utterly blown away by all the little touches Kathleen put into her wedding, such as doing her calligraphy for the envelopes of each invite and adding sentimental touches, such as the family heirlooms that both Kathleen and Jacob incorporated into their wedding day.
After the two were ready, we made the short trip to the Baptist Church of Beaufort, which was such a beautiful historic Church. The ceremony was sweet, exchanging their vows and a sweet kiss as pronounced husband and wife. After the ceremony, all their friends and family gathered outside of the Church for a bubble exit as they headed to their wedding reception at the gorgeous Oldfield Plantation.
Once we arrived at their venue, we took portraits while their friends and family enjoyed appetizers and cocktails outside of the site on the lawn with a beautiful view of the water and moss-covered trees. Once finished with photos the couple joined their cocktail hour and shared their sweet first dance and then everyone went inside to have dinner.
After dinner Kathleen, Jacob and I snuck off for sunset couple portraits. Ending the night was the father-daughter dance, cutting of the cake and a sparkler exit. The day was truly perfect, and the rain even held off all day so the two could enjoy their day without any interruption of rain.
I am so excited to share a few of my favorite images from their wedding!
