On February 29, 2020, Amanda and Brent said “I do” in front of all their friends and family at the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation. Amanda and Brent first met at a bar when they were attending college at Clemson. The two were completely inseparable from the time they met. Amanda and Brent are not only best friends, but it is clear they are head over heels in love. They also both adore their sweet pup, Sam, which I was so excited, made an appearance at their wedding as well.
Their day started with the entire bridal party getting ready in the most beautiful home in the Isle of Palms. As the girls got ready upstairs, the boys got prepared downstairs and enjoyed a few games of pool. The day although a little chilly could not be more perfect, without a cloud in sight, so of course, we had to take advantage and take some photos on the rooftop deck of the beach house to pop some champagne.
Amanda’s mother helped her get her dress on before we all headed to Boone Hall for Amanda and Brent’s first look. We found a private area for the two to share their first look, and it was the sweetest moment ever. I even got teary-eyed watched the two see each other for the first time.
After the first look, we took a few minutes to soak it all in and take some dreamy bride and groom portraits. Once we were finished, we met the entire bridal party at the Avenue of Oaks and took bridal party formals. We had so much fun capturing all of their friends together, there were endless amounts of laughter! After we ere finished, Amanda and Brent tucked themselves away to wait for their friends and family to arrive for the ceremony.
The ceremony started, and everyone was so excited when Sam made her way down the aisle. Amanda and Brent truly love their pup so much, so it did not surprise me that they had her a part of the ceremony. As Amanda made her way down the aisle with her father, Brent was genuinely overcome with happiness, his face said it all. They wrote their own vows, and they were so sweet and had everyone giggling too.
After the ceremony, we ran off for some sunset portraits and just wait until you see these dreamy photos! Then it was time to party, and the party did not disappoint. All of their friends and family danced until the very end of the night when the two exited through a sparkler exit with the same huge smiles on their faces they had all-day long.
Their wedding was one for the books! I am over the moon to share some of my favorite photos from their day!
