From the very first conversation with Leanna, I knew that she was my kind of gal, we literally spoke for hours and felt more like an old friend than someone I was talking to for the first time. After our conversation ended, I could not wait to meet her and Ben in person, and a few months later, we met for their engagement session. We literally had the best time during their engagement session, which made me even more excited for their wedding!

In March, I was beyond excited when Leanna RSVP’d to my couples reunion, and I am so blessed that I could see them and hang out with them before everything shut down. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19, they had to decide to postpone or cancel their wedding; So instead of delaying, they decided to move their wedding to their farmhouse in North Carolina.

This past Friday, Leanna and Ben said I do in front of their closest friends and family at their home. It was indeed the most beautiful setting I have had the pleasure of photographing. It was so sweet watching Ben so sweetly kiss Leanna on the forehead and hand as everyone bowed their head in prayer, I could not help but to shed a tear. The entire day neither Ben or Leanna’s smile left their face!

They had the best cocktail hour with the most fantastic appetizers made by Leanna’s Dad and Step-Mother, and it was delicious! The best part of the cocktail hour was the surprise delivery by one of Ben’s coworkers and UPS. Of course, we took the opportunity for a photo opportunity. The reception as short and sweet, but absolutely perfect! They shared the most adorable first dance following the parent dances that put a smile on all of their guest’s faces. The toasts “Little Matt” Ben’s best man had everyone cracking up, sharing a sort of embarrassing story about Ben’s pants tearing on the job. They then cut the cake and Leanna did not disappoint she shoved that cake right up Ben’s nose! It was adorable. Before the three of us snuck off for some sunset photos, Ben and Leanna got the dancing started with their guests with Copperhead Road, and it was so much fun!

Leanna and Ben then had a confetti exit, and it was so sweet! I am beyond excited to share a few of my favorite images from their fantastic day!
