Emily and Luke are engaged, and they are as cute as ever! I first spoke to these two in January, and after over an hour of getting to know one another, I could not imagine not being a part of capturing their big day! I have heard countless love stories, and each of them is super special and always makes my heart smile, but if I were to pick a favorite, Emily and Luke might be my favorite.

Their story began before they ever knew it when they were just toddlers and were at a wedding. Although they went to school with each other and knew each other, it was not until high school that their family realized that they had been at a wedding many years prior. There is even a photo of these two sweethearts dancing, and it is cuter than ever, so of course, we had to try and recreate their first photo together, so you will have to scroll to the end to see.

We started the session off at The College of Charleston, which holds a special place in their hearts. I also had the pleasure of meeting Emily’s mom, which makes me even more excited for their big day next year, because I cannot wait to see her again! Afterward, we ran around the streets of Charleston sharing tons of laughter, and it was the best minus those pesky bugs.
