Kathy and Garrison got married this February at the gorgeous Founders Hall, which is an understated venue at Charlestontowne Landing. It was a beautiful day with not a cloud in sight.
The ceremony was an intimate affair under an arbor covered in lush florals, In the courtyard at Founders Hall. They invited just their closest friends and family to witness the exchange of vows before the rest of their guests arrived to celebrate at the reception. During the ceremony, they read their vows. It was a real tear-jerker. After they were announced as husband and wife and made their way down the aisle, their guests sprinkled them with lavender.
For dinner, they served Asian Cuisine, which was loved by all the guests. The first dance involved the wedding party getting on the dancefloor to get the dancing going, and they finished off the evening with a rose petal send-off.
Kathy and Garrison got engaged last January when Charleston got hit with a rare snowstorm, also know as snowpocalypse. They got in touch with me last winter, and we immediately hit it off. They said they wanted a fun photographer, and I loved that they just really wanted me there.
Kathy’s advice to brides planning their wedding is don’t sweat the small stuff and have fun.
