Ashlyn and Jonathan’s story began when the two met at a little place in Midland, TX called Shack in the Back where a live band was playing. As Ashlyn and Jonathan’s friends and family describe the two were meant for each other, Jonathan being a spreadsheet king and Ashlyn color coordinating her closet, the two were perfect for one another.

Jonathan proposed to Ashlyn in Destin, FL as the two watched the sunset and he got down on one knee asking for her hand in marriage.

Yesterday, despite some rain and a few delays Ashlyn and Jonathan said: “I do.” Everything was absolutely stunning and the entire day was filled with endless laughter and love. My favorite part of the whole day was when Ashlyn and Jonathan snuck off with myself and the videographers for a romantic husband and wife session on the dock at Charleston Harbor Marina.

For any brides planning your wedding when I asked for Ashlyn’s advice, she said “Unexpected things happen, roll with the punches, and focus on the positive. Don’t stress over RSVPs and things going unplanned, you’re about to marry the man of your dreams!”
