I adore meeting my couples in downtown Charleston for sessions. Alex and Nick are getting married at Old Wide Awake in the spring, and their engagement photos Charleston SC were authentic and documentary. We hit up several iconic spots around Charleston for their session, and even though it was a cold winter day, these two brought the heat with their chemistry!
They dressed to the nines for their photos, and I am obsessed with Alex’s high-fashion dresses. Whenever my couples dress up, it’s always a lot of fun, and they never regret it. And after your session is over, then you’re ready to go out on the town looking like royalty! The first dress Alex wore was a floor-length Corset-styled bodice with a sheer mesh waist and tiered skirt. Her second dress was a button-up, ruched skirt with rolled cuff sleeves and a tie belt.

I gift an engagement session to each of my wedding couples. Getting to know my couples is a critical part of my service, so we can build friendships and aren’t strangers on your wedding day. Often couples will come to their session a little nervous because they’ve never had photos taken before and need to learn how to pose. I’ll direct you into poses that will make you look amazing but also let you be your authentic self. Being able to photograph a couple for who they really are is always the best. Once your wedding rolls around, you’ll feel confident about photos!
