Newborn photographers often have busy schedules, so booking your session well before your due date is essential. I always recommend scheduling the session within the first fourteen days of your baby’s life.
How to Prepare Your Baby:
To ensure a successful photo shoot, preparing your baby beforehand is important. You’ll want to feed your newborn right before the session starts so they have a full belly. It’s best when the baby is asleep during photos, so try to keep them awake about an hour or so before photos start. Keep your sweet babe comfortable in loose-fitting clothing to avoid marks on their delicate skin.
What Should I Pack for a Newborn Photoshoot?
One less thing you have to worry about when you have the newborn photographer come to your home is packing up every little item you need for your newborn. Packing is unnecessary because you’ve got everything you need in your house. It alleviates stress when a family doesn’t have to travel to a studio to complete these photos.
