Austin and Armando’s wedding is a wedding that I have been anticipating for over a year. When I first had a conversation with Austin and Armando before they decided to book, I immediately knew that I had to be their photographer! I loved hearing about how the two of them met and were friends first before they starting dating during Austins Sophomore year in college. However, I was also obsessed with the way that Armando proposed, at sunset on Venice Beach in Sarasota.

When I first met Austin and Armando at their engagement session, I immediately could feel the love they share for one another, not only that. However, these two has hearts of gold and makes everyone feel welcome! I knew after their engagement session that their wedding would be filled with so much joy and love!

The day started at the Thomas Bennett House where Austin got ready with her bridesmaids upstairs, and Armando got ready downstairs with his groomsmen and uncles. I arrived, and everyone was having a blast! The rooms filled with laughter, although I could tell Armando was a little nervous as he anxiously awaited until the moment he could see Austin walking down the aisle.

When the ceremony finally began, everyone was smiling from ear to ear, and Armando stood at the front of aisle patiently waiting for Austin to be escorted down the aisle by her father. Finally, the door opened from the balcony, and Austin came out. Everyone was blown away by how beautiful she looked. Austin, with the sweetest smile on her face, turned the corner where Armanda finally got to see his bride and his eyes never left her as she made her way to him. As the two stood at the top of the aisle, Austin could not stop grinning and reached out to grab Armando’s hands. The ceremony was short and sweet, and then the two were finally pronounced husband and wife. Austin and Armando shared the most adorable first kiss.

After the ceremony, we quickly did the remaining portraits, so the two could join their friends and family, many who traveled to be a part of their special day. The cocktail hour had the most amazing Charcuterie board that I have ever seen and small bites that melted in your mouth! After cocktail hour, Austin and Armando were announced into their reception where they shared their first dance and had everyone in tears. Before Austin danced with her father, Armando stood holding Austin’s hands to greet her father with a smile and handshake.

Dinner then served, and it was terrific, everyone could not stop talking about how great the food was, until the cake cutting. Austin and Armando were so sweet and saved each other from smashing the cake in each other’s faces, and instead sweetly fed each other the cake. As the cake was served, everyone enjoyed a piece even while dancing, which the plates and forks were later used as an instrument on the dance floor by their fun bridal party!

Austin and Armando’s wedding was undoubtedly one for the books and one I will never forget. The details were impeccable, the guests were a joy, and the couple was perfect!
