This past Friday, Heather and Ryan tied the knot at Cannon Green in Downtown Charleston. Their day could not have been more fun!

I met Heather last year shortly after Ryan proposed, and we immediately connected, probably mainly because we were both so organized. I loved hearing about how Ryan and her like to spend their time together and hearing the whole proposal story. I later met Ryan a few months later during their engagement session. The entire evening was so much fun, but what I loved most is the way that the two acted as if there was nobody else in the room but each other. I was not surprised that the two, even in a room with all their friends and family, still acted as if they were the only two around, never taking their eyes off each other.

The day started at Heather’s house, where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids and family, I arrived, and she was the calmest bride I have ever seen. After a few getting ready photos, the girls loaded up in the coolest Mercedes van to travel to where Heather and Ryan would have their first look at the College of Charleston.

Everyone gathered around the Cistern for Heather and Ryan’s first look, and it was the sweetest moment! We took a few portraits of the two and bridal party. The entire bridal party loaded into the van to drive around Charleston for a little before the ceremony. Before I attempted to drive the van, shot down, of course, I settled for just taking a few fun photos of them all celebrating together.

The ceremony was perfect, and as soon as I heard Adele come on as Heather started to make her way down the aisle, I was taken back to my own wedding day, as it was the same song I walked down the aisle to. I loved how Heather never stopped smiling from ear to ear as she made her way to Ryan.

The reception was unforgettable! They had a live band that had everyone on the dance floor, and the entire night everyone could not stop smiling! It was, indeed, the most perfect day!
