2025 was an incredible year for Charleston SC weddings. From the first celebration to the last, I had the honor of photographing so many wonderful couples across some of my favorite Charleston wedding venues. I’m so excited to share highlights from the Charleston SC weddings I captured throughout the year.
Sydney and Nicholas kicked off my 2025 season with the sweetest late February winter wedding at Creek Club at I’On. Their day began with a heartfelt first look before the ceremony. Their ceremony beneath the Spanish moss, with sunlight filtering through the trees, was stunning. Later in the evening, we captured golden hour portraits on the dock as a soft pink sunset reflected across the water. Their wedding was the perfect start to my year of Charleston SC weddings.

Ali and Ben’s early March wedding at Legare Waring House was timeless and romantic in every way. After their first look, they read private vows to one another beneath the oaks, a moment that felt incredibly personal and emotional. Their ceremony in the iconic Avenue of Oaks was breathtaking, followed by an outdoor tented reception. Ali’s outfit change into a chic short white dress was such a fun touch, and their bubble exit before leaving in a Rolls-Royce was the perfect ending to their big day.

This wedding will forever live in the Emma Lili hall of fame. Madelyn and Charles’s Lowndes Grove wedding was pure joy from start to finish. Even without perfect weather, their day couldn’t have been more incredible. From beer donkeys to Cocky’s epic entrance introducing the newlyweds, every moment was intentional and full of personality. The night ended with a boat ride to their after-party, and the energy on the dance floor was truly unmatched.

Alison and Ryan’s wedding at Magnolia Plantation was filled with tropical elegance and soft romance. Shades of green set the tone for their day, and the azaleas beginning to bloom added the prettiest pops of color to their portraits. Their sweet first look and private vows were made even better by a very special guest, their dog, Edgar Alan Pug, who absolutely stole the show.

From the moment I met Emily, I knew her wedding day would be magical, and it truly was. Their ceremony inside the chapel at I’On, framed by floral standing arches, was stunning, and their reception at Creek Club felt dreamy and celebratory. The weather, the love from friends and family, and the joyful energy all came together beautifully. Their fun streamer-style reception exit was the perfect ending on such a sweet wedding day.

Lindsay and Aaron’s Seabrook Island wedding was everything a perfect spring day should be. Their meaningful ceremony beneath swaying palms by the water was followed by a celebration full of laughter and nonstop dancing. The weather could not have been better, and their vintage car exit added such a fun, classic touch to an already unforgettable day.

Justine and Will’s William Aiken House wedding was overflowing with joy, love, and happy tears. Vibrant spring florals, chic green bridesmaid dresses, and a classic black tux look created such an effortlessly beautiful aesthetic. Their ceremony was filled with happy tears and was followed by a romantic candlelit dinner under string lights. Watching Will look at Justine all day was truly special.

Olivia and Liam’s late May wedding was pure Lowcountry magic. After a meaningful ceremony in Folly Beach, they celebrated at Mingo Point on Kiawah Island under sunny skies and a gentle breeze. One of my favorite moments was watching them sneak away for a quiet dance together before entering their reception. From the marsh sunset to meaningful family moments, this Charleston SC wedding was filled with Southern charm and so much love.

Kayley and Nicko are head over heels in love, and it shows in every moment of their day. After a first look and portraits at Hampton Park, they exchanged vows against the stunning backdrop of the Historic Rice Mill. Their reception overlooking the harbor was lively, romantic, and energetic.

McKenna and Chris’s June wedding at William Aiken House was bright, joyful, and full of summer color. McKenna’s bouquet popped beautifully, and their first look with private vows was incredibly sweet. One of my favorite details was seeing their last name and wedding date lit up at The American Theater just next door, a classic Charleston touch I’ll never get tired of.

Andrea and Spires’ mid-July wedding at Creek Club at I’On was filled with genuine moments and joyful pivots. Their first look was emotional and tender, and although rain forced their ceremony under the covered porch, it only added to the day’s intimate feel. Sparkly cowboy hats, nonstop dancing, and a sparkler exit followed by a boat exit made this one unforgettable.

Ashlen and Cody’s Middleton Place wedding was full of color, beauty, and stunning portraits. From their first look beneath the oaks to the champagne tower and vibrant florals, every detail felt joyful and celebratory. Middleton Place’s expansive grounds made for endless portrait opportunities, and their day felt relaxed and romantic.

Claire and Cole’s end-of-July Charleston SC wedding was full of laughter and connection. After a church ceremony at First Scots Presbyterian, they celebrated at the Historic Rice Mill. Their sunset portraits by the water were some of my favorites, perfectly capturing their bubbly personalities and love for one another.

Returning from maternity leave for Paige and Andrew’s wedding was an absolute honor. Their Legare Waring House celebration was about presence, love, and connection. From portraits with their dog to a beautiful ceremony beneath the oaks, every moment mattered. Paige’s reception dress change and their joyful bubble exit were the perfect ending to a day that reminded everyone what weddings are truly about.

Bailey and Conor know how to throw a party. Their Gadsden House wedding came together seamlessly thanks to an incredible vendor team, including the talented planners at Boutique Planning. From their emotional first look on the staircase to the packed dance floor, every moment was unforgettable. This historic downtown Charleston venue never disappoints.

Lexi and Tyler’s wedding proved that even a nor’easter can’t stop the magic. With grace and positivity, Lexi embraced last-minute changes, and the result was a beautiful, joy-filled day. Their reception design was stunning, and their joy shone through every rainy moment.

Jessica and Eric’s intimate Sullivan’s Island wedding was simple, romantic, and full of love. Set near the dunes with their closest family and friends, their celebration felt relaxed and significant. Their sunset portraits were breathtaking, followed by dinner and dancing under the island skies.

Stephanie and Zach’s November Gadsden House wedding was a dream. Sun-filled weather, rich fall colors, and an always-packed checkered dance floor made this party one for the books. Stephanie’s outfit change and their bubble exit were the perfect finale to such a joyful Charleston SC wedding. It’s always a great time working alongside their planner, Peper Events!

Kelly and Lawrence’s Lovegrove Estate wedding felt romantic and dreamy. With orange-tinted trees and fog rising off the river, their portraits were truly one of a kind. Their private last dance before a bubble exit was such a meaningful way to end the night.

Kimaya and Abraham shared a sweet first touch before their ceremony, and the golden fall light filtering through the trees was absolutely stunning. Their champagne tower was a highlight of the evening, setting the tone for a joyful and celebratory reception at Creek Club at I’On.

Brooke and Joshua’s early December wedding at Magnolia Plantation was a beautiful reminder that a bit of rain can’t stop a great day. Although it rained during their first look, we used clear bubble umbrellas so they could still enjoy portraits outside together. Their ceremony was held beneath a tent, and the celebration continued inside the Carriage House, where deep burgundy tones created the perfect winter palette. The dance floor stayed packed all night, and they ended the evening with a private last dance before stepping outside for their sparkler exit.

Madison and Bryan wrapped up my 2025 season with a jewel-toned Historic Rice Mill wedding. They shared a sweet first look earlier in the day before the ceremony. Later, we captured sunset portraits out by the water, which glowed with beautiful golden light. It was the perfect way to end a year full of unforgettable Charleston SC weddings.
