There’s just something so effortlessly romantic about Mount Pleasant. The way the marsh grasses glow in the evening light, the quiet charm of Old Town streets, and that soft coastal breeze that makes everything feel a little more magical. Jess and Will’s Mount Pleasant SC engagement photos were the perfect blend of coastal elegance and New England-inspired charm, and I’m still swooning over how beautifully their vision came to life.
We started their session in front of the iconic Post House Inn, and honestly, it felt like stepping straight into a romantic film. The inn’s light-colored exterior, paired with soft eggshell-blue doors and windows, created the dreamiest backdrop. Add in the little bistro tables out front, and it gave all the cozy, love-story vibes. Jess absolutely nailed the styling. She carried a woven straw basket filled with hydrangeas and even brought along a straw bucket hat that added the sweetest touch to a few moments.
For their first outfits, Jess wore a white cotton poplin midi dress that moved so beautifully in the breeze, while Will complemented her perfectly in a light blue button-down and khaki pants. Against the greenery and soft textures of Old Town, their outfits felt classic and completely in sync with the setting. From the start, they brought an easy energy, full of laughter and quiet in-between moments.
As we walked through Old Town, we visited a few of my favorite spots for Mount Pleasant SC engagement photos. It’s an area I love for its natural charm.
We made our way over to Pitt Street Bridge, which was the perfect change of scenery. Before we started photos there, Jess and Will changed into their second outfits. Will kept things classic with a white button-down and khakis. Jess changed into a white crochet lace dress and pulled her hair up. It was a simple change, but it gave their photos a whole new feel.
From walking hand in hand along the bridge to pausing for quiet, wind-swept embraces, these two made every moment feel so genuine.
Jess and Will are getting married this May at the beautiful Creek Club at I’On, and after spending this evening with them, I already know their wedding day is going to be filled with joy, intention, and love.
