It’s not every day I get to photograph families or newborns, but when I do, I love that it’s for past Emma Lili couples! I photographed their engagement photos in 2019 and their wedding in 2021. It’s so much fun that I have been through all of these incredible milestones with them and meeting their precious new family member. As a Charleston newborn photographer, it’s a blessing to come into a couple’s home and photograph their sweet bundle of joy!

Lifestyle newborn sessions are becoming more popular, and there’s an excellent reason behind it. Doing your newborn session in the comfort of your home makes things so much easier. When photographing newborn sessions, I allow time to be on the baby’s schedule. Instead of a family traveling to a studio or another location, it makes it easier for me to come to them, and they don’t have to put travel on their plate. If your baby needs to be fed or rocked, or you need a minute to yourself, you’re in your own home, and I will give you plenty of space until you’re ready to take photos again. These moments that I can capture during a lifestyle newborn session are always a candid and authentic way to showcase what real life looks like with your new family.
