Being a Charleston Wedding Photographer is one of the best jobs ever! I spend my days exploring the beautiful city with the sweetest couples and hearing all about their love stories, and Betsy and Mark have, a love story that takes new heights, they met due to working at the same trampoline park.
The twist… They were working in different states! Both were working as General Mangers for the trampoline park, Mark in New York and Betsy in Arkansas. An employee training was happening in Texas which is where Betsy and Mark officially met. However, after the training they went their separate ways, but did keep in touch.
Five months after training, Betsy had to go to New York to help audit Mark’s location. They spent every night in Rochester together and the rest, as Betsy says, is history.
In August 2019, Mark had planned the perfect proposal at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. They were meeting friends for a double date, but their friends were happening to be running late so they decided to go to the gardens for a quick trip. Betsy didn’t think anything of it.
As they were walking gardens, Betsy said she would stop every so often and take pictures. They came up to a beautiful tree and Betsy wanted a selfie with Mark. The tree was the exact spot that Mark had planned on proposing so right after they took a selfie, he got down on one knee and popped the question. Betsy, obviously, said yes.
There are so many amazing Charleston Wedding Photographer, which makes me so incredibly honored that Betsy and Mark chose me to be a part of their wedding day this May at Wild Dunes on May 15th!
