Fall is right around the corner, and I thought this would be the perfect time to chat about my Charleston Fall Wedding Guide!
Charleston wedding season is busy in the fall!
If you’re planning a Charleston wedding and are thinking of having it in the fall, here are a few things to keep in mind! The month of October is one of the busiest for weddings in Charleston. Many vendors book twelve to eighteen months in advance, depending on the season. When you have dream wedding vendors you want to work with, don’t hesitate to book them as soon as you have a date! It never hurts to ask vendors about their availability on Fridays and Sundays since these are less common dates.
Fall weddings can bring a different color palette than summer weddings. Often I see couples incorporating fun patterns, different foods, and fall-themed signature drinks. The weather is one element you shouldn’t forget when planning your Charleston wedding. Starting in the fall, it finally starts cooling off. Don’t get me wrong, it can still be really hot in Charleston, but it’s not unbearable like the summer months. Since it’s not as hot, the gnats and mosquitos aren’t nearly as bad, which means fewer bug annoyances.

If you’re not from Charleston and planning a destination wedding in the fall, you might not realize that it’s hurricane season!
