There is no better place to get engaged than Charleston! The number of proposals around here is quite high, both by tourists from out of town and locals. That’s exactly why as a Charleston Proposal Photographer, I created the perfect Charleston Proposal package.
There’s no doubt that I enjoy capturing people’s love stories, and it’s an even greater joy when I get to be at the actual proposal! As a Charleston proposal photographer, I aim to make the proposal planning and set-up as simple as possible. My packages are completely customizable, and you can add things like flowers, champagne, charcuterie board, set up, reservations, etc.
In addition to assisting with the planning leading up to the proposal, I also oversee the set-up and tear-down on the day of the proposal. Of course, if you choose one of my packages, you will also get full photography coverage of the big moment! Videography is also available if you are interested in having it recorded. Alternatively, if you just want photography without any additional options, we can do that as well.
Earlier in the summer, Seann reached out to me, and together we planned the perfect engagement for Tina. It was such an exciting experience to see all the details come together since I knew it was going to be one of my most memorable Charleston proposals to date. Seann and Tina were in town visiting, along with their friends, and they had all rented a beach house on Kiawah Island. I set up the whole beach picnic and provided everything they needed so that Seann didn’t have to worry about anything – other than bringing the ring, of course!
As Tina and Seann walked along the beach, they came across the cutest beach picnic set up. Once she knew it was for them, Seann dropped to his knee and asked her to marry him. The engagement ring he purchased was from Tiffany, and did an excellent job! On the ring’s box, he had it engraved with a quote in Chinese because they started their relationship in China, and they both speak some Chinese!
After we got several Charleston engagement photos on Kiawah Island, we returned to their beach house. Tina was surprised again when she realized they were having a surprise engagement party! Their friends were all so excited to celebrate with them. I loved capturing this big life event for them and seeing their excitement. They called and FaceTimed all of their family, and it was such a joy to hear everyone congratulate them!
It is important that you have a whole moment to propose to your partner. You have reached such an exciting point in your relationship, so why not make a big deal out of it?! Even though your engagement story will live forever in your memory, making sure it’s documented in photographs is just as crucial. Years down the road, you’ll be able to show your kids or even grandkids how you got engaged. Photos tell a beautiful story and looking at them lets you see and feel emotions.
If you’re searching for a Charleston proposal photographer, I would absolutely love to assist you in making this the perfect proposal! Get in touch so we can discuss all the fun details.
