Avery and Tom’s Downtown Charleston and Folly Beach Engagement Photos were oh so dreamy!

These two met while in college and are planning a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas next spring! I also got married in Cabo San Lucas, so it was fun connecting with them about their wedding destination! Their wedding will be amazingly dreamy!

I’m so glad Avery reached out to me about taking their engagement photos! One of my past brides, Ali, was in the same sorority as her.

We first started their engagement session in Downtown Charleston. Taking a stroll down the cobblestone streets and exploring the perfect spots is always exciting. In their first outfit, Avery wore a creamy long-sleeve dress with a pair of heels that matched perfectly, while Tom wore a navy blue suit. Both of them looked fabulous in their dressy outfits! I love when my couples get all dressed up for their Charleston engagement photos!

Charleston Film Engagement Photos

Following our exploration of downtown, we headed to the beach! A quick drive from Charleston to Folly Beach gives you the best of both worlds with city and beach pictures. The glowy sunset gave these photos a romantic feel. Their second outfits were perfect for beach engagement photos! Tom wore a white long sleeve button-up with khaki-gray pants, and Avery wore the cutest blue and white patterned dress. It’s best when couples wear casual outfits to be more playful and carefree walking on the beach and through the water.

We had such an enjoyable evening together, being able to capture their personalities. These two are the best of friends and love each other dearly. I was able to shoot some of their photos on my film camera, and I’m in love with how these all turned out!
