Lowndes Grove Wedding Venue | Charleston, SC
Amidst the warm embrace of a Lowndes Grove wedding in summer, love blossomed as Hunter and Matt embarked on one of the most exciting journeys of their lives.
Matt and Hunter’s love story began in Uptown Charlotte, and it started with a swipe right on Hinge, an online dating app. Little did they know that they lived in the same building! After a few weeks of texting, they decided to meet for dinner, and the rest is history.
Fast forward to a tropical paradise vacation in Mexico with their closest friends; Hunter didn’t think anything about having a group photoshoot, but little did she know she was getting engaged! After directing Hunter into various poses, Matt got down on one knee and proposed. It was such a sweet moment, and they celebrated with their friends!
Hunter, being in the wedding industry herself, had not one, not two, but three breathtaking dresses for her big day. Her first dress was the epitome of elegance, adorned with intricate details, a deep v-neck, and a row of delicate buttons down the back. Her second dress, a strapless number with a slit and beautiful white florals with green leaves, was perfect for the main reception events. And when the dance floor opened up, Hunter dazzled everyone in her short, sparkling third dress. She looked incredible in each of them, radiating beauty and confidence.
Before the ceremony began, Hunter and Matt shared a heartwarming first look, and we captured enchanting portraits. Their joy and love for each other were so sweet throughout the day.
As luck would have it, their wedding day had its fair share of rain. But Lowndes Grove provides the perfect indoor setting for photos. We weren’t worried in the least! The variety of photo locations, both outside and indoors, is one of the many perks of this Charleston wedding venue. Eventually, the skies cleared, and the couple had their dream outdoor ceremony, as well as more portraits.
After the traditional events, they danced the night away, showcasing fantastic moves. The dance floor was truly electric with a live band.
As the evening drew to a close, their friends and family gathered, creating a tunnel of love with sparklers. It was a great way to bid farewell to their guests.
