Cara and Kevin had a stunning wedding at The Cedar Room Charleston. Thanks to their amazing wedding planner, Yoj Events, I was able to photograph their wedding! They are one of the best wedding planners in Charleston, and the work they create for each wedding is truly incredible.

These two adorable lovebirds met while they were working. Cara invited Kevin to her beach birthday party. She didn’t expect him to show up, but to her surprise, he did! Having spent time together and realizing their love was destined, Kevin proposed at a hot spring in Costa Rica.

The Cedar Room at the Cigar Factory is a gorgeous warehouse chic setting to host one of your best days ever. The location Downtown is great. The location is just a short distance from some of my favorite historic downtown photo spots! Not to mention that their rooftop also makes for the perfect couple portraits.

Before the ceremony, the two decided they wanted to see each other and then get all of the wedding portraits out of the way! Despite the rain, we were able to stay on schedule and capture everything. Even though they had a large wedding party, I was able to reign everyone in, and their photos turned out so fun!

Kevin and Cara’s wedding ceremony took place on the rooftop of The Cedar Room Charleston SC. The courtyard features a beautiful greenery landscape; they had two urns filled with luscious florals in the front. Witnessing these two become a married couple was so sweet!

The large expansive open room had plenty of space for their wedding reception. Rustic brick walls with historic wood columns make the space unique. Kevin had four best men, and they all gave a toast together during the reception. They had everyone rolling on the floor laughing! You could tell how they adore their friendship with Kevin. Throughout the day, Cara was the life of the party! She allowed herself to enjoy and embrace her big day fully! All of their friends and family surrounded them with love and had the best celebration for the newlyweds. The live band added a special touch to the party!

They decided to add on my Charleston videography package, which always makes the day so much easier! Having a photographer and a videographer at your wedding is great to have them from the same team. We know exactly what shots each other needs and what angles we prefer. My couples who hire us as their videographer are always so grateful they did!
