Kalena and Erasmo are engaged and getting married next weekend! I was so excited when my friend, Heather, Kalena’s sister, reached out to me to set up an engagement session as a surprise for her sister.

So, Kalena and Erasmo traveled down from Columbia yesterday evening for their session. Heather was so sweet to pick up a few outfits, so Kalena did not have to worry about it. Kalena is like me; she is not big into shopping, so this was such a super sweet gesture. Unfortunately, the outfits were not what was envisioned. In a quick SOS moment, Kalena, Heather and one of Kalena’s friends ran over to my house to try on a few dresses. We were all in awe the second we saw Kalena in the white dress; she looked absolutely stunning. She looked stunning in literally every dress she tried, but we settled on two and made our way Downtown.

We started the session off of Rainbow Row and then explored Tradd Street before heading over the Broad Street and finishing at Chalmers. The sunset was perfect, and even better, the breeze helped to cool us off as we walked all over Downtown Charleston. While wrapping up images off of Chalmers Street, my shoe got caught. It broke, so luckily, Kalena had a pair of flats from her first outfit, so I did not have to walk barefoot back to our car. We were all cracking up because despite a few hiccups, we all had a blast, and boy did Kalena and Erasmo kill it! I mean seriously, these two just naturally went into the most precious poses and were all smiles.
