Hannah and Brandon had a Beautiful Spring Wedding at Gadsden House in Charleston, South Carolina! It was the perfect day for these two love birds to marry one another.
These two met through a group of mutual friends while in college. Although Hannah played hard to get, she gave Brandon a chance after a few weeks of dating and found him to be a perfect gentleman, and she is glad she did! While visiting Brandon’s sister in Charleston, his parents arranged for family photos. Hannah had no idea Brandon would propose during their photo session and was so surprised when he pulled the ring out of his pocket! He worked with her sister to choose the perfect ring, and he did a fantastic job!
In the 18th century, this manor was built to be given as a wedding gift. This home was completely renovated in 2015 and is now an exquisite Charleston wedding venue. The Gadsden House features an ideal mix of historical character, modernized charm, and stylish essence with floor-to-ceiling windows, white walls, and picture-perfect lighting.
The Gadsden House is the perfect venue for your wedding day vision, and here are a few details to know before you book.
Wedding prices will vary based on a variety of factors. This Charleston venue offers different rental rates depending on the month and day of your wedding.
Gadsden House’s bridal suite is spacious and full of natural light, making it an ideal place for Hannah and her attendants to get ready. Hannah wore white pajamas with her bridesmaids in a matching blue and white floral print. Before the girls got into their dresses, they popped a bottle of champagne for some fun photos!
Hannah’s classic wedding gown was an Essence of Australia dress from The Crystal Bride. Her beautiful ballgown silhouette features a luxurious off-shoulder neckline that wraps around the back of the gown, creating a sophisticated look. Her bridesmaids wore rose gold tea-length satin dresses from Show Me Your Mumu. Brandon and his groomsmen wore black suits from Men’s Wearhouse partnered with a classic bow tie. Everyone looked amazing for their black-tie wedding.
As Brandon and his mother shared their first look, you could tell how much she adored her son. The bridesmaids exuberantly cheered as they shared a first look with Hannah. At their first touch, Brandon and Hannah held hands, exchanged letters, and chatted behind separate doors.
As Hannah walked down the aisle toward Brandon, his eyes filled with tears seeing his beautiful bride for the first time. There wasn’t a dry eye at the ceremony as their love is so evident. After they sealed their marriage with a kiss, their guests threw flower petals to celebrate!
Brandon and Hannah’s Gadsden House wedding photos are absolutely stunning! Luckily, the sun made a brief appearance, allowing me to capture many photo opportunities around this Charleston wedding venue.
A beautiful garden party was the theme of their wedding reception. Hannah had asked everyone to wear colorful clothes or floral prints to go along with the garden theme. Their centerpieces and florals displayed a Bridgerton vibe. It was Brandon’s dad’s birthday on their wedding day, so they surprised him with cupcakes and sang happy birthday!
Brandon and Hannah are such a sweet couple, and they just went with the flow of the day! Although it rained for most of the day, they trusted me, and we were able to get so many unforgettable moments captured! In the end, getting married and celebrating the special day are the most meaningful things.
