Susie and Bryan first met when they were both going to college at George Mason University in Virginia. I had the pleasure of first speaking with them last January after they got engaged.
Since first speaking with Susie and Bryan, I have been anticipating the day that I finally could meet them both in person. Just seeing what they have been up to on social media, I just knew that these two would be a blast to work with, and they did not disappoint.
One of the questions I ask my couples if they have a preferred side or anything they want me to keep an eye on is when I learned Bryan had to give up his “good” side to Susie since they both believe their right sides are on the same side. However, both look amazing. But when Bryan got to show off his “good” side for a few photos, he killed it!
I even got to meet Shea, and the second I met her, she had me cracking up. I kid you not, Shea spins in circles when a car passes, and it might be the funniest thing I have ever seen a pup do.
Since Shea would make an appearance, we started their session out at their apartment complex, which made the perfect backdrop. We were also fortunate enough not to spot or get attacked by any of the alligators that frequently lurk on the grounds.
Within minutes I was cracking up hanging out with Susie and Bryan; they are a couple who knows how to have fun and laugh, which brings a smile to anyone who is around them; seriously, their playful personalities radiate.
Since we do live in Charleston, we headed downtown for the second portion of their session. Susie wore the most beautiful green dress and looked breathtaking.
I could go on and on about this couple because they are genuinely just incredible people and so much fun to be around, but I will wrap this up. I am beyond excited to capture their wedding this coming June at Hotel Bennett.
Check out a few of my favorites from their engagement session.
